LIFIAN in Anglo Saxon is seen to mean 'to be', be alive', 'have life'. A seed is the begining of everything, hence the name.
For this design I have cast a saved pumpkin seed from last year’s allotment grown veg. When cast in metal it has a very pleasing and tactile feel. All the details have been captured beautifully. It has a very satisfying weight to it when held.
Each LIFIAN pendant is cast from a master mould, so the design and finish will be the same as the photographs here. Each wax pendant is hand finished by me.
Each LIFIAN pendant has a 2.2cm drop (not inc the jump ring) and is approx 1.2cm at widest point. Maximum thickness is 0.3cm. The soldered jump ring has a 7mm outer diameter.
Both 9ct gold and sterling silver come with full UK hallmarks to the soldered jump ring.
The 9ct version is made to order, so please allow 4-6 weeks from ordering to delivery for this metal.
