CRESCENT MOON Pendant
Crescent moons can be seen to symbolise fertility and female empowerment. The crescent moon can symbolise either waxing or waning period in the lunar cycle. The waxing crescent moon is youthful and full of energy, where as the waning crescent moon can be seen as more mature, one who has experienced the full cycle.
The CRESCENT moon pendant is hand modelled from wax and has a pleasing texture to the design. The abstracted design is made up of layers of melted wax to create the textured surface on the moon.
These CRESCENT moon pendants are cast in solid recycled sterling silver. They have been carefully made individually therefore no two are ever the same.
Each sterling silver CRESCENT moon pendant comes with a full UK hallmark from The Assay Office.
This style is sold as a pendant only.
The CRESCENT moon pendant measures approx 1.4-1.5cm high (not including jump ring or bail). Total drop is approx 2cm. Sizes may vary slightly due to the nature of the handmade design.
There are 2 different styles available:
One has a larger 7mm Integral bail, (inner diameter approx 0.5cm). There are 2 of these currently available.
The other is listed as Jump Ring, and has a smaller integral bail and 6mm jump ring (inner diameter approx 0.4cm). There are 6 of these currently available.
